About

Born and raised in the Atlanta area, Khylen Steward did not grow up only playing hide and seek and drinking juice at all hours of the day or whatever it is kids may do.
Instead she scheduled her play time before or after watching and memorizing the magic of Disney films and various children's television shows. As she grew older, her tastes and understanding of cinema broadened. Additionally, her enthusiasm for the art continued to flourish. Though she would later find interest in sports and music, it was clear that her first love was the art of storytelling in the motion picture.

After four challenging years of studying with a focus in Producing while playing three wonderful years of lacrosse, Khylen graduated from the Savannah campus of the illustrious Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) with a BFA in Film & Television in 2010.
Today Khylen, still a film enthusiast to the core and with experience as an in-house videographer + editor for CBS Radio Atlanta under her belt, is working as a freelance videographer and editor. She is also building and developing her production company, Creative Protest Films, as she works on her first feature film.
In her free time, she enjoys attending various concerts in the Atlanta area, celebrating the return of one Janet Damita Jo Jackson, immersing herself in all things Beyoncé and watching recorded episodes of Living Single and A Different World  on her DVR.
She is currently available for freelance opportunities.
