I did a documentary style, interview-based project for V-103 for Black Music Month, which is in June. I interviewed several of my co-workers - many of whom have a personal relationship with artists such as TLC, Ne-Yo, Jermaine Dupri + more - and compiled a series of videos that showed some of the station's history as well as its appreciation for African-American music.
The project was originally only for Black Music Month, but with limited time to edit, I found that I could not include much of the information I wanted to share.
Thankfully, the station is allowing me to continue the project and post these celebratory vignettes whenever I choose throughout the year, so be on the look out for more.
